Hi, Curious: When did ACA started calling it: “… and Dysfunctional Families”? Not that its Untrue and I think actually speaks for MORE of the ACA membership than those from Alcoholics… but when was Change done? I only saw this and on the ACA main National website that They also added, “… Dysfunctional Families”? I assume this was Approved by the National Fellowship or whatever, Intergroup? Just Curious. Thank you.
@SC, Yes, this was voted upon by all members on the last ACA WSO Business Conference ballot.
There will be a ballot sent to all registered meetings for a vote in the last quarter of 2025. The registered delegate from each meeting will have one vote. Update your meeting registration and elect a delegate to vote. The vote that took place by the delegates at the Annual Business Conference was to send to worldwide membership for a vote. Prior to the ABC there was no procedure or process to have an international membership vote.
